Welcome back to school! I hope you are as excited to spend this year in fifth grade with me as I am to spend it with you. As most of you know, Michael and I welcomed our baby, Claire, this past May. She has already brought us so much joy and I feel very fortunate to be able to spend the next 6 weeks at home with her while I finish up my maternity leave. Mrs. Latta will be filling in for me while I am at home with my sweet girl. I look forward to being back with you starting October 5th. In that time Mrs. Latta and I will be in close contact to make sure that the transition is seamless.
